Update Regarding Shipping Fees!

Hey Everybody!

So, we should be able to wangle shipping fees a bit lower.  Especially for Australia, New Zealand and (some) European locations.

We'll have it sorted this week, so sorry about the delay in custom shipping quotes, but we're working very hard to sort it all out.

DON'T FORGET TO FILL YOUR BACKERKIT SURVEY OUT (even for electronic delivery)!

Hey everybody!

By now, in the email address you've provided to kickstarter, you should have received what's called a "BackerKit survey" which completes the check out process for your pledge level.

Please do take a moment to fill it out. 

Even if you have a fully electronically delivered pledge level, you should fill it out, because digital delivery will take place through BackerKit!!

Check your emails, and please do fill out the survey!

The deadline is January 31.  If you haven't filled in the survey by then, and you fill it out later, we (obviously) can't guarantee fulfillment date at the same time as everyone else for you. 

IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING SHIPPING:

NON EUROPEAN OR NORTH AMERICAN COUNTRIES:

Any areas outside North America and Europe need to generate a custom quote.

BackerKit did not have an option to require you to seek a custom quote, so we were advised to make a price that would generate inquiries, and give us the chance to provide custom quotes.

This has created some confusion, and for this we apologise. 

If you live outside North America or Europe, PLEASE email us for a custom quote!

SCANDINAVIAN EEA COUNTRIES:

There seems to be a glitch of some kind regarding Scandinavian EEA countries.  We have to manually go in and fix it, which we will do, of course.  Please let us know if you encounter a problem.

SO, WHAT'S GOING ON? 

Within the next 2 days, you will be receiving your final surveys from BackerKit. 

This will:

1.  Allow you to provide your shipping information and pay for your shipping.

2.  Provide you with the opportunity to specify options if applicable (for example size if you are getting a TShirt).

3.  Provide you with the opportunity to purchase add ons, gifts or provide additional support should you choose.

We are still on target to fulfill orders by the end of March, as originally planned.  If anything changes as far as fulfillment dates - we will let you know as soon as we do.

Please Note:  The method of payment you provide to BackerKit will be processed on the deadline date and NOT on the date of your completed survey. 


I'VE MISSED THE CAMPAIGN, CAN I STILL PARTICIPATE?

Actually, YES!!

If you or friends have missed the campaign, we have an option to order non exclusive items available during the campaign ala carte via BackerKit.

In the next couple of days we will post a link to "pre orders", which will enable this option.  You will be able to use this link and to share link to allow others (even if they did not back a level) to pre order this way.

We are sorry about the delay getting surveys out, but we had to wait for Kickstarter to do their thing, and now have to wait for Backerkit to do their thing, which they can't do until after the holidays. 

So, after the New Year, you will FINALLY be getting your final surveys from Backer Kit. 

Don't worry about the delays on the surveys.  We are far enough along in the process that it shouldn't delay fulfillment.

Hi Everyone!

Thank you so much for making this project a success!

We apologize for our silence these past few days.  We've been dotting some "i's" and crossing some "t's" as the saying goes.

So - what's next? 

Well, here's a list of the next steps as they currently exist.  There may be a change or adjustment here or there - but we will let you know, as things change, if they do.

1.  Kickstarter will charge your card for your pledges, if they haven't already.  If you don't already see a charge, check your email address, you may have an "error" message you need to address!

2.  In the coming two weeks, you will then receive an email AT THE EMAIL REGISTERED WITH KICKSTARTER from BACKER KIT.  We are using BackerKit to organize your final check out surveys and to organise your add-on orders. 

(Please send us a message if you need to update your information, including your KS email and UPDATED email.)

3.  The BACKERKIT email will a) get your shipping information/sort out your shipping fees, and; b) choose your add-ons.

I've missed the Kickstarter - can I still get a book? (And kickstarter gear?)

      YES!  Once we've moved on to the next phase, we'll generate a link to the backerkit.  Within the next 10 days or so, you'll be able to to go the backerkit page and order most items ala carte (individually). 

Some items you see in some of the pledge levels are totally exclusive to the kickstarter, and not available ala carte.  We're sorry about that, but we know you'll understand.

As we DO need to put in final orders to our vendors, it will only be for a VERY limited time.

We'll post another update and make appropriate announcements when we have opened ala carte ordering.

What's next?

Well, now that our pre-orders have finished, we'll concentrate on fulfilling our orders.  Naturally, we want our supporters to be pleased with having participated in this project, so that's our focus at the moment.   

After fulfillment, one never knows!  Stay tuned!
