Hello everyone,

Exciting news!

Everything is now at the warehouse save for the books.  We are super close to fulfillment, and as soon as it is all in hand, we'll start sending everything out!

The books are now in the print queue, and as soon as our first batch is done, we will let you know!

It's been over a year of various rounds of editing.  We thank you all for your patience.  We are super eager for you all to have the books (and your pledge levels) in your hands.  We are very proud of everything that's been produced for this project.

Hi Everybody!! 

Sorry for the long silence!

We are still waiting on the publisher.  We are scheduled for our last production meeting tomorrow night with them, and we are hoping to get into the publishing queue within the week. 

What does this mean?

This means that all the editing (and there was LOTS), design, formatting, copyrighting, and the logistics of getting the book TO print is finally over. 

When we started the campaign - it was already WRITTEN, but none of the other stuff. 

Our other merchandise has been filtering in to our fulfillment warehouse in Las Vegas. 

We are super sorry about the delay.  None of this is really up to us or under out control.

BackerKit "lockdown" of info on Monday and Projected Delivery/Fulfillment

Hi everyone!

Just giving everyone the heads up that we will be locking down Backer kit info on Monday and offering an update on fulfillment/delivery dates.

What does "locking down backerkit" mean?  It sounds kind of menacing.

Don't worry!  It's nothing bad!  It just a means to give us final counts and finalizes shipping addresses etc.  Once BackerKit info is "locked down" it means that you will be unable to make any changes to the information held in Backerkit or add any items on, or place any orders. 

So, if you need to change your mailing/shipping address or order anything else before ordering is off the table, please go in today or tomorrow and have a gander or make corrections if necessary.

If you have an address change or any issues, you can still always email us [email protected], of course, but orders will be closed.

So, essentially, the campaign is officially closed to orders and/or changes as of Monday 19 March 2018.

Delivery/Fulfillment:

As of today, we are looking at around a 4 week completion/delivery time of the book and (some) merchandise. 

This means we are at an approximately 2 week delay on receiving some of our items into the warehouse, and then we'll get all the stuff signed (which may take another week) and then out.

European (and a couple of other destinations ie: Israel) fulfillment will take an additional week or so, as we are shipping to a central location in Europe and shipping out across Europe (and other places - ie: Australia/New Zealand) from there. (This is how we were able to get cheaper shipping for you).

Further (and more longwinded) clarification on the postage chargeback post

Some people seem to be confused about their postage charges, and have disputed their charges.

As we stated in the comments of the last update, it was our mistake and the charge for postage evidently appears as "BTLBB". (Not stripe, as previously thought)

There are no more charges or fees coming.

We feel we've been super honest and open every step of the way. We've repeatedly apologized for confusion, and been open about any mistakes we've made. Kickstarters are not our profession, this is a crowdfunding community to get creative projects completed and that's just what we are doing.

It's been a labour of love primarily for most of us involved, and we definitely feel like we've done our level best to be both professional and transparent. We've worked for 3 years on this - with no compensation because we feel this story needs to get out. So please, be patient with us, and understand that we are all actually working other jobs to support ourselves while we do this.

Current status: We are receiving items in the warehouse already.

Anonaboxes have arrived, whistles and boxes are set to go to manufacture and the books are in final proofing.

We've repeatedly said: Anyone that does not want to be involved doesn't have to be, and by all means, please just send positivity and love now. You'll get your rewards, and you'll get them as promised and some extras too.

To clarify - We have had 4 reports of fraud on postage charges in the past few days.

If you have not disputed your postage charges as fraudulent on your credit card statement, the previous update does not apply to you.
